Col Mac is an interdisciplinary artist working with a focus on painting. Drawing from art history and language his work explores how our relationships with time and image culture can be both static and alive. His current work reflects on the liminal and investigates the ways in which aesthetic practices link and blur the boundaries of time, place, biography and history.
His work has appeared in the Washington Post, New York Times, FT, NBC, Vice and more. He has been a finalist in The Brisbane Portrait prize, Swell and shortlisted for four AOI world illustration awards.
In 2023 he completed his BA in Fine Art at QCA.
